India's richest man ready to hit Zoom and Google Mate

When it comes to video chat or conferencing, the first things that come to mind are Zoom, Skype, Google Mate or Facebook Messenger Rooms

But

India's richest man Mukesh Ambani is now ready to take on all these platforms

Ambani's Reliance Jio platform has recently invested more than 15 billion and is now stepping into the world of video conferencing.
This week, Reliance Jio introduced the video conferencing service JioMate, which is very similar to Zoom.

Like Zoom and Google Mate, Geo Mate also offers HD (720p) unlimited free calls and supports video conferencing based on hundreds of people at once.

The service does not limit call times, but the company says that customers can continue uninterrupted calls for up to 24 hours

The company does not intend to introduce paid service yet and currently this service will be available to the customers for free indefinitely.

Beta testing of the service began in May this year, and according to the company, it includes enterprise-grade host controls, including password protection for each call, multi-device login support (5 devices), and share screens.

Other features include switching from one device to another, safe driving mode (for travelers) and hostesses can also enable the waiting room so that participants can ask permission to enter the call.

However, the company did not specify whether the service would be available in other countries, but the website claimed that all calls would be encrypted, but did not specify the procedure.

Zoom is currently the most popular video conferencing service, especially in India with millions of subscribers.
