Thousands of users have reported the fall of the Google Maps service worldwide. Thus, since 16:40 in the afternoon, more than 12,000 users have detected the failure in Downdetector - a portal that alerts which platforms, search engines or applications have errors or crashes.
The fall has been reported at multiple points in the US, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Costa Rica and Spain, among other countries.

According to Downdetector, 48% of failures are when entering the web and 47% from the application . Also 5% have reported errors with the data saved by the platform.
Problems with the Google search engine have also been reported. But, for the moment the digital giant has not commented on the problem.
