Tesla Will Prevent Playing While The Vehicle Is Running

Tesla has taken notes on the research that has been done on the possibility of running the games on the dashboard tablet while the cars are in motion. Tesla will release an update that disables the passenger game in motion. 

Tesla promised this change after discussing the matter with US officials.

It wasn't mentioned when the update might arrive, but it's safe to assume that you'll have to park for future game sessions.

The representative of the United States government stressed that the investigation will continue despite the update. 

The US NHTSA reiterated that the Vehicle Safety Act prohibits companies from selling cars that pose significant safety risks, including distracted driving.

The research covers approximately 580,000 Tesla electric vehicles between the years 2017 and 2021.
