WhatsApp Messages | Decide To Improve The Feature Of Deleting Messages In WhatsApp

The feature of deleting erroneously sent messages from other people's windows has been available in WhatsApp for a long time.

But there is a flaw in this feature called Delete for Every One and that is that if the message sent is not deleted in a limited time then there is no benefit.

That is, the sender and receiver need an hour to make the message disappear.

But the company has now decided to fix the error.

According to WaBetaInfo, a site that tracks WhatsApp updates, the time limit for Delete for Every One in the messaging app is being extended.

The report states that a new feature is being tested in the new beta version of the Android app.

This feature eliminates the time limit for deleting messages, meaning users will be able to delete messages that are months old from other people's chat windows.

The report also shared a screenshot in which a 3-month-old message was deleted.

Note that WhatsApp introduced this feature in 2017 and at that time was given 7 minutes to delete the message.

Later in 2018, this time was reduced to one hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds.

It is now being considered to remove the time limit 4 years after the introduction of this feature.

But it is difficult to say how long this feature will be available to all users.

There is no time limit for deleting old conversations in Telegram and Instagram.
