An amazing feature is soon to be added to iPhones, which is to detect a car accident and automatically connect to the emergency service.
The Wall Street Journal reported the crash is being rate detection feature from Apple iPhones and Apple plans to introduce the uacz.
This feature is likely to use accelerometer sensors in Apple devices.
According to the report, Apple has been working on this feature for many years and it is also being tested in the real world.
The report added that Apple collected share data from iPhone and Watch users and detected more than 10 million suspected traffic accidents, including 911 calls after more than 50,000 incidents.
Apple used this data to improve its crash detection algorithm because contacting the emergency services confirms a serious accident.
By the way, this is not the first time that a company has worked on this feature.
Earlier, Google had introduced a similar feature in Pixel 3 and Pixel 4 called Personal Safety App.
This feature is activated when a user's car accident is detected and then alerts emergency services.
General Motors has been providing such facility in the company's vehicles for many years.
Earlier, Apple introduced a feature called Fall Detection in the Apple Watch 4 series, which automatically communicates with emergency services and the user's relatives when the user does not respond to a prompt for a specified time.
According to the report, if all goes well, this new feature could be part of the iPhone and Apple Watch in 2022.
