WhatsApp Data | How To Transfer WhatsApp Data From iPhone To Android Phones

In August, when Samsung introduced new foldable phones, WhatsApp announced the introduction of a service to transfer chat history from iOS devices to Android phones.

In early September 2021, this feature was introduced for Samsung phones running on the initial Android 10 or 11 operating system.

Now this feature has been introduced for other Android phones besides Samsung.

However, it is still not possible to take advantage of all Android phones, but only on devices running the Android 12 operating system, data can be transferred from the iPhone.

This means that at the moment this feature will only be available for Google Pixel phones and Samsung devices and gradually it will be available in other companies' phones.

The process of transferring data from iPhone is quite simple.

For this you will need Lightning Cable to USB cable and connect your phone to iPhone.

A notification or promotion will then appear and you will need to scan a QR code on your iPhone so that you can launch the WhatsApp and transfer your data to Pixel or another phone.

According to Google, data will be transferred securely to phones.

Google said it is working with WhatsApp to ensure that data is secure and that no one has access to your details and files.

In this transfer, account information, profile photos, individual chats, group chats, chat history, media (voice messages, photos and videos) and settings will all be transferred from one phone to another.

But call history and display name will not be part of the chat transfer.

Announcing the feature in August, the company said the tool was difficult to implement because all messages are end-to-end encrypted and stored on the device.

WhatsApp, OS developers and phone makers needed extra work to transfer this data.

Simply put, this tool is the result of everyone's joint efforts.

This new feature will also be useful for multi-device support as this chat migration tool will allow users to connect multiple devices under one account.
