Instagram Swipe-Up Feature | The Link Stickers Feature In Instagram Instead Of Swipe Up Links Now Available To All Users

The link swipe-up feature that accompanies stories on Instagram has now been retired.

This feature allows users to visit the website with the link on the sticker in the story.

All users will now be able to use link stickers for this purpose instead of swipe up links in the story.

The company started testing link stickers in June and in August it was introduced for verified accounts or accounts with a large number of followers.

But now all Instagram users will be able to add hyperlinks in the form of stickers to stories.

According to the company, link stickers will be useful for everyone, especially those who will be able to link their products.

However, this feature will not be available for accounts that repeatedly share misleading or hateful content.

To use this feature, go to the Sticker tool in the story and enter the URL by clicking on the link sticker there.

The company started testing link stickers in June, and Vishal Shah, then the former product head at Instagram, said the test would also look at how people post links while spam and misleading. What content links will be monitored?

He said that stickers are the preferred method of people in this platform and therefore links are being made a part of the overall system, which will make it simpler.

The main difference between the two features is that users can also react to link stickers which is not possible on swipe up stores.
