It is known colloquially as "Ninja Bomb" and is part of a secret project of the CIA and the Department of Defense. Its objective is to carry out airstrikes with surgical precision and has been the vehicle of revenge chosen by the high command of the United States to kill two members of the Islamic State of Korsan (ISIS-K) , the Afghan branch of the caliphate that led carried out the attacks last week at the Kabul airport, which resulted in the death of 13 US Marines.
In essence, according to the US media, the "ninja bomb" is a modification of the AGM-114 Hellfire air-to-ground missile, which the US Army mounts on drones, airplanes and helicopters. However, instead of an explosive charge, the "ninja bomb" is "filled with swords" that are deployed "in the form of a halo" moments before reaching the target.

According to the evidence recorded by the Wall Street Journal, the six blades inside the ninja bomb have a total weight of 50 kilograms, can pass through walls of buildings and cars and separate from the missile "a few seconds" before it hits the target.
"For the objective, it is as if an anvil at full speed fell from the sky ", explain the experts.
To avenge the attacks on the Kabul airport, the United States dropped the "ninja bomb" from the airport from an MQ-9 Reaper drone that killed two militants from the Afghan branch of ISIS, causing minimal collateral damage and no civilian casualties, such and as you can see in this video published exclusively by the Wall Street Journal.

USED AGAINST AL-QAEDA AND ISIS
The existence of the "ninja bomb" was known for the first time in 2019 and has been used during the summer of 2020 to carry out surgical attacks against leaders and ringleaders of Islamic fundamentalist movements in Syria and Iraq such as Qassam al-Urduni, Bilal al-Sanaani and Abu Yahya al-Uzbeki, leaders of the Tanzim Hurras ad-Din group, affiliated with Al-Qaeda.
Following the attack on the Kabul airport last week - which left 13 US servicemen dead, the darkest day for US troops in Afghanistan in years - President Joe Biden issued the following televised warning.
"To those who have carried out this attack, and to anyone who wishes America ill, know this: we are not going to forgive. We are not going to forget. We are going to hunt you down and make you pay ." A hunt that, at the moment, the Ninja Bomb has already claimed two victims.
