How Strong Is The Display Of Apple's New iPhones When Dropped By Hand?

Apple introduced its iPhone 12 series phones this month, two of which are now available to consumers.

People have to spend a lot of money to buy iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro and most of the users use these devices only for camera.

However, if it falls out of hand, can these iPhones withstand the shock?

Introducing these phones, Apple said that it has used a ceramics shield screen to protect them and apparently it also makes it quite durable.

A company called All State Protection Plans tested the strength of both models of the iPhone 12 by dropping them from a height of 6 feet in different ways, the video of which you can watch below.

Tests have revealed that the display of these two iPhone 12 phones is stronger than that of the iPhone 11 and Galaxy Note 20 series phones.

The iPhone 12 proved to be stronger in tests that showed only minor scratches on the edges, while significant cracks appeared on a large part of the iPhone 12 Pro's display.

According to the company, the flat design potentially protects both devices from falling backwards.

Dropping the side bill doesn't make much difference to the two phones, but the iPhone 12 Pro's back glass and a wide-angle camera are definitely shattered.

However, it is possible to repair it, but it can cost thousands of dollars.

But the company said that if consumers accidentally drop their new iPhones, they are more likely to be unharmed due to the combination of glass and nano-sized ceramics.

But it also suggests that consumers should be careful not to let the phone fall out of their hands.
