A Facebook Bug Shows Users Fake Posts From Famous People They Don't Follow

Among some of these false posts were mocking images of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself.

The Facebook platform has registered this Wednesday a bug by which it has shown users of the social network false publications of personal profiles and pages of famous people and celebrities whom they do not follow.

This error in the social network owned by Meta began to be noticed around 07:00 this Wednesday, as reported by the DownDetector portal. It was then that several users have noticed this error on their corresponding walls, where images, videos and 'memes' have appeared that apparently did not correspond to the authorship of the owners of these accounts.

Among some of these fake posts were mocking images of Facebook's own creator and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.

This incidence, which seems to be global, has had its highest peak around 9:00 a.m. and has begun to decrease in the number of cases from 9:34 a.m., according to said portal. However, these false posts are maintained in some accounts of famous people, such as the comedian and writer Trevor Noah.
