As demand for iPhones soared during the last quarter of 2021, Apple snatched the number one position from Samsung a year later.
Between October and December 2021, Apple sold more smartphones than any other company, according to Canals, a company that monitors smartphone sales.
Earlier, in the third quarter of 2021, Apple pushed Xiaomi down to the second position and now it has overtaken Samsung to become the number one company.
This is the result of the huge demand for the iPhone 13 series.
According to the report, there is no precedent for iPhone sales in China during this period, even when Apple's supply chain is unable to produce iPhones in line with demand.
