Meta, the company formerly known as Facebook, is developing a smartwatch capable of capturing photos and videos.
A Bloomberg report has leaked a picture of the Meta Smart Watch in which the device looks similar to the Apple Watch.
The only difference is that the meta watch has a camera in the notch on the display.
App developer Steve Moser discovered the image in the company's app, which is used to control Ray Bean Stores AR sunglasses.
It also hints that the same app could be used to control this new smartwatch in the future.
In addition to the round corner and a camera, this smart watch looks equipped with stainless steel casing and detachable strap.
According to the report, the code of the app indicates that the device can be named Milan, which will be able to take videos and photos that can be downloaded to a phone.
According to Bloomberg, Meta expects a smartwatch to be introduced by 2022, but not everything has been decided yet.
According to various reports, Facebook's patron company is already working on 3rd generation of the product which will be released at different times.
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
Mark Zuckerberg changed the name of the company to Meta on October 28.
