Xiaomi's new TV is stunning

Xiaomi is well-known for its smartphones, but the Chinese company is also rapidly emerging in the television market.

Xiaomi has introduced a new flagship phone, the Mi10 Ultra, on the occasion of its 10th anniversary.

But at the same time, the Chinese company also introduced a surprisingly transparent screen TV that can be viewed across.

Called the MTV Lux OL LED Transparent Edition , the display looks like a piece of glass when turned off.

When it is turned on, the images in it seem to float in the air, or at least that's what the company claims.

The television's 55-inch transparent display is likely based on LG's 55 in-transparent 55EW5TFA display.

It has 120 Hz refresh rate, 10 bit color depth and IMS response time.

The company claims that this is the world's first large-scale transparent TV, the experience of which is similar to that previously shown only in science fiction movies.

Unlike traditional TV back panels, Xiaomi incorporates all processing units into the base stand.

It is equipped with AI Master Smart Engine as well as MediaTek 9650 costume made TV chip.

There is also Dolby Atmos support and AI Master support for audio performances.

It has MIUI user interface and also supports all-way display.

It is currently on sale in China from August 16 at a price of 50,000 Chinese Yuan ($7,207 USD).

No announcement has been made by the company regarding its availability in other countries.
