Samsung's Unveiled New Foldable Phone Galaxy Z Fold 2


Samsung has unveiled the first glimpse of its new foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

As for the Galaxy Note 20 series of phones and other devices, the South Korean company did not officially introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 2, but did offer highlights, which help to gauge its value.

This time the company has focused on 2 displays.

The internal screen expands from 7.3 inches to 7.6 inches, while this time Ultra Thun Glass has been made a part of the device for better image quality.

The external screen is also larger than before at 6.2 inches and when the phone is turned off or folded, the screen is visible instead of the bezel on the front.

Front and internal cameras have been moved to punch holes.

The company did not disclose the price of the phone, processor, cameras, battery and other details, but will announce on September 1.

The date of commencement of pre-orders will also be announced on this occasion.

However, according to the leaks that have come so far in this regard, the Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel has been given in the inner screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, while this time the S Pen support has not been given.

The bezels of the phone are also much lower than the original Fold model, while the external screen is equipped with a supramolecular display with a 60 Hz refresh rate, both screens have HDR10 Plus support.

The fingerprint is provided in the reader side which can be easily used even when the phone is turned on or off.

The 5G-enabled phone will likely be powered by a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The back of the phone will be set up with 3 cameras and all three will be equipped with 12 megapixel sensors.

The main camera will have F1.8 aperture, OIS like S20 while the other 2 will be telephoto and ultra wide cameras.

There will be a dual camera setup app on the front and both will be equipped with a 10 megapixel sensor.

The 4500 mAh battery has 25 watts of fast wired charging and 11 watts of wireless charging support, while the reverse charging feature is also available.

The price and availability of the phone will be announced in the next few weeks.
